Cookbooked
Cookbooked is a mobile app that generates recipes based on a user’s virtual pantry. A user can easily fill their pantry with ingredients by scanning grocery shopping receipts or individual product barcodes, along with the ability to add, remove, or edit items.
What is the problem?
People these days people don’t have a simple way to track what food products they possess which they could create a dish out of. This causes people to waste money eating out thinking they don’t have anything to eat at home, and people let the food rot that they forgot about.
Why do we have this problem?
We have this problem since people don’t have the mental capacity to keep track of what they have in their fridge/pantry. Life demands people to keep track of more pressing matters.
How can we help?
By creating an app that lets users scan their receipts and input foods that they have. That way, people do not have to mentally keep track of what they have at home.
Who will benefit?
The product’s intended users are people who buy groceries. Also, people who are interested in keeping track of the food they have at home and want to see what kind of dishes they can make out of what they have.
